Meet Our Grassroots Team
We believe our Grassroots team plays a vital role in fostering a sense of community and promoting the sport at its foundational level. By nurturing local talent, our team provides aspiring cyclists with opportunities to develop their skills, build lasting relationships, and experience the thrill of competition.
-
Fosters local connections: The Bicycle Express Racing brings together cyclists from the local community, helping build a sense of camaraderie and shared purpose.
Encourages inclusivity: Our team is open to all riders, fostering a welcoming environment for grassroot riders and experienced cyclists alike
-
Skill development: Riders can learn from each other and from more experienced cyclists within the team. Regular training sessions and group rides help improve technique, endurance, and tactical awareness.
Personal growth: Through collaboration and training, cyclists often push themselves to improve, setting and achieving personal goals.
Physical fitness: We believe promoting and centering a team around fitness is an excellent way to improve health and inspire others in the community.
-
Mentorship: We encourage support from other more experienced riders. Riders can expect support and guidance from other team members.
Sponsorship and gear: Grassroot riders will receive sponsorships, offering discounts on equipment, nutrition, jerseys, or events.
-
Raising awareness: Bicycle Express Racing Grassroots Team organizes and hosts local events, races, and group rides that raise awareness of cycling as a sport and support the future of cycling.
-
Race participation: Bicycle Express Racing organizes and participates in local cycling races, giving members the chance to race and test their skills in a competitive environment.
Team events and activities: Our team promotes riders to participate in charity rides, and other social cycling events, fostering a fun and competitive spirit among members.
-
Youth involvement: Bicycle Express Racing Grassroots is focused on supporting younger cyclists, which can inspire the next generation of riders and introduce them to the sport at an early age.
Diversity and talent development: Our Grassroots Team can be a stepping stone for cyclists who might not otherwise have the resources or opportunities to compete at higher levels.
-
Team bonding: Being part of Bicycle Express Racing can create lifelong friendships through shared experiences, social events, and mutual goals.
Fun and motivation: Being a part of our Team can be a lot of fun, motivating members to ride more often, improve their performance, and participate in social gatherings beyond training sessions.
